Until she was relieved from her post as deputy communications minister, Victoria Hammah had plans to rake in a million dollars before stepping out of politics.
Going by Hammahs projection, a member of the Progressive Peoples Party, Mr. Charles Owusu, believes President Mahama could have used the same tactics to stash $20 million in his account.
Mr. Owusu charged unpaid government workers to stand up for their right and make government account for the ruthless ways they are spending the nations money.
In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, the PPP stalwart urged Ghanaians not to buy into any attempt by government to set up a committee to investigate Victoria Hammahs saga. His reason for making this suggestion was because he sees the current government as being too corrupt to investigate any case of corruption.
He rather advised that to get to the bottom of the matter, a non-partisan committee must be established to uncover every sensitive area of the case. Mr. Owusu ended his submission by predicting that with the way the president and his ministers have started, he sees Ghana being like Sodom and Gomorrah.
