The Christian Council of Ghana says there is so much hopelessness in the country, which according to the council breeds corruption.
According to the council, most Ghanaians are fast losing hope in the face of the economic quagmire.
General Secretary of the Christian Council, Rev. Dr Opuni Frimpong in an interview with Host of Breakfast XYZ, Moro Awudu said unless the economic challenges are aptly addressed, individuals would always seek their interest above that of the nation.
if I have to do the right thing, do my job well, get my salary at the end of the month, I will not be able to survive, I must therefore do anything just for survival Rev. Opuni said.
Rev. Opuni therefore called for a public education to reinstate national values just as it was in the Achempong regime, One Nation One Vision One People
