Following the scathing remarks by National Chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Dr Nii Armah Josiah Aryeh that President John Dramani Mahama is inefficient and has also appointed "thieves" to manage the country, an aggrieved member of government has ordered the police to quickly move in and apprehend him.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu Juaben, Yamoah Ponko, has told Accra based Okay FM that after listening to the disparaging remarks leveled against the president by Dr. Aryeh, he expected the security service to have moved in with full force and bring him to book.
The NDP Chair, who once served as General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) told NDP supporters at the party's Regional Delegates Congress held in Kumasi, that the country was leaderless since President Mahama was not a worthy leader who could steer the affairs of the nation to bring about development and peace.
Angered by the comments, Yamoah Ponko observed that describing the state of Ghana to a leaderless one; should have resulted in the security agencies moving in to arrest the person making those infantile statements.
