Former President, John Agyekum Kufuor has urged Ghanaians to stop treating each other as enemies.
The former president was speaking to Joy News after ThursdayοΏ½s Independence Day anniversary celebrations in Accra.
Today marks 57 years since the country won independence from its British colonial masters.
According to the former president, the country needs its citizens to live together peacefully in order to develop.
οΏ½We are citizens together; we should stop treating each other as enemies because the country belongs to all of us.οΏ½
He also advised, οΏ½if as we celebrate, let us take a minute or two, soberly, to ensure that we try to see what has gone wrong with us so we may take steps to correct ourselves to move forwardοΏ½.
