The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its sincere felicitations to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the party's Special Congress, which comes off on Sunday, August 31.
Speaking on behalf of the ruling party on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", the Deputy General Secretary Kofi Adams wished the NPP's congress should be devoid of any act of injustice.
According to him, he hoped the party would iron out its persistent internal strife and conduct a peaceful congress.
Reacting to the infighting and conflicts that have recently taken the centre stage in the NPP, Kofi Adams advised the leadership and members not to indulge in any activity of violence as they brace themselves for the special congress.
We from the NDC wish NPP very well. We wish them that they come out well Because we dont want any chaos since we are the government of the day. Should anything happen; we would have to divert State resources to go and take care of such situation," he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
