In responding to factors responsible for the growing hardships in Ghana, a former Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Ofosu Ampofo, stated that the ongoing fight in Syria could have a devastating effect on Ghana although we are both miles apart.
"Someone could decide to blast one oil refinery and it could cause oil prices to shoot up in Ghana", he said
A survey by the Afrobarometer has it that most Ghanaians consider the management of the economy as the most important problem that the government must fix. According to the research, most Ghanaians have described the country�s economic condition and their own living conditions as �bad� or �very bad�.
But speaking on UTV�s Adekye Nsroma, Hon. Ofosu Ampofo stated if an almighty nation like the United States of America could have its shares in companies crushing overnight, then Ghana�s woes shouldn�t be over flagged.
