Outgoing Electoral Commissioner, Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, says he will not miss his job as Chairman of the EC.
According to him, he will go into full time farming now that he has retired from his post.
In an interview on Starr FM on Thursday, Dr Afari Gyan said, “I have done this work for a very long time, everybody gets tired for doing something for so long and so no; I will not miss it”.
He said his retirement would give him the opportunity to pursue his farming interest.
“I have always said that I will be going into farming. I have had a farm for the past 17 years and I am going to pay attention to it. I have fish and Noni in my farm; those are the only things I grow now”.
Dr Afari Gyan, who last Wednesday, turned 70 bid farewell to his staff after serving the state for 22 years as EC Chair.
