RE: Revealed: Amissah-Arthur To Step-Down For a Successor
I have read with utter disgust, fabrication of stories posted on your network on 1st December 2015 and kindly request that you withdraw those unfounded stories and render unqualified apologies to me.
I write also to state categorically that I am unaware of any letter of resignation originating from the Vice President; I have also at no time goaded the Vice President to collect His Excellency the Presidents nomination forms.
Indeed, I do not have that authority which is solely that of the President.
For the avoidance of doubt however, I wish to state categorically that I find His Excellency the Vice President very capable and experienced. I also believe that he has so far conducted himself well to keep the sanctity of the Presidency.
Thank you, trusting that you will clear the air.
S. N. BREW-BUTLER
