NPP’s Nana Akomea says President John Dramani Mahama takes his ongoing projects across the country more serious than the lives of Ghanaians.
The NPP CommunicationS Director noted that a survey by the Institute of Economic Affairs [IEA] has indicated that poverty rate has increased under the Mahama-led government.
“Things are very expensive. Unemployment rate is very high, these are issues bothering Ghanaians. This is what the NPP is going to tackle when we come to power," he said.
“The NDC claim Ghana is now like a foreign country because they are building bridge at Kwame Nkrumah Circle. Anytime Ghanaians complain of hardship, they will refer them to an ongoing project somewhere, are they serious?” he asked.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie' Nana Akomea admitted that although the ongoing developmental projects are relevant – “President Mahama in 2008 August 7, said, developmental projects are very important, its childishness to praise a government for developmental projects.”
“What will be the use of the projects if the people are in anguish?” he questioned.
