NPP Communications Director, Nana Boakye has described the inauguration of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange as a total waste of money.
Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Nana Boakye noted that the funfair that accompanied the inauguration exposes the extravagance of the Mahama administration.
According to him, the Kwame Nkrumah interchange is not the first interchange constructed in the nation but the previous governments didn't mobilize the entire nation to witness it in grand style like President John Mahama and his government did on Monday evening.
He recounted that the erstwhile Kufour government erected about 9 interchanges but didn't waste money like the incumbent government.
Nana Boakye also noted that his checks revealed that the inauguration ceremony of the "Circle interchange was transmitted across 11 television networks and all were paid for by the government."
“It’s waste of money. It’s not like we have seen it before…Let’s think about the country a little and not waste money because elections are impending. Meanwhile, President Kufour did far better than what we’re even experiencing,” he said.

Eiiii NPP skin pain will kill you people. Jealousy.ashemo papa.hahahahahahaha
NPP always complains about everything not done from them.
....... and so what? Mahama tiaso na toaso!!!!
...No where in the world would this bridge cost USD200m.
this is a nice interchange and thats all it is!!! but the money should have been used for the back roads where the common people live...
When will ndc folks reason and think of the nation first? Did Nana B say what mahama has done is a bad thing? The point is: Why should we waste a lot of money just to inaugurate a project? Do we understand the present financial situation of the nation? How can this project cost the nation more than USD200m? These are the questions any sincere Ghanaians should ask. So sad the ndc folks are so blind and really don't understand issues at stake. So sad Ghana is being rule by people whose thinking cup is so low!
CHANGE FOR WHO NPP CAME TO BUILD HIPIC TOILETS AND MAHAMA IS BUILDING ROADS SCHOOLS HOSPITALS, NANA WILL GO FOR FINAL RETIREMENT WHICH HE WILL NEVER SEE POLITICS AND GET CLOSSER. DENNIS / EJUSU
Presint Kuffuor constructed the following in eight years: 1. Tetteh Quarshie Interchange 2. Madina-Atomic Interchange 3. Ofankor Interchange 4. Alajo Interchange 5. Mallam Interchange 6. Asokwa Interchange 7. Asafo Interchange 8. Sofo Line Interchange Mahama has only done two Interchanges in eight years and you are making so much noise about Dubai. 1. Nkruma Circle Interchange 2. Kasoa Interchange which has not been completed. President Kuffuor met 37,321 km of road network in 2009 and increased the road network ot 69,134km by end 2008. NDC has increased the road network from 68,134km to 71,300km, just an increase of 3,000km. The Suhum dual carriageway is still uncompleted since Kuffuor left power eight years ago. John Mahama and the NDC must bow down their heads in shame for all the stealing and suffering that they have visited on this country. They were hoping that funds from Oil production would be enough to cover up their massive stealing. Unfortunately for them, it has not happened. They have nowhere to hide because the masses are angry with them and they will have no option but to pay for it. They will lose the elections, period.
NPP Communications Director, Nana Boakye, when you travel out of Ghana and saw all this good things you will appreciate it right?i can see you don't have plans for better Ghana....Big up NDC
