Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has called on student nurses in the country to continue to vote for the NDC government to enable the party re-invest in infrastructure and equipment that would enhance teaching and learning.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur made the above statement at Goaso in the Brong Ahafo Region when he inaugurated a 500 bed dormitory and a first phase of 5 Unit classroom block at the Nursing and Midwifery College.
He joined the students in the celebration of their SRC week and made it clear to them that the welfare of nurses and midwifes is a priority to the John Mahama and the NDC government. He added that government would continue to invest and empower them.
He also touched on government’s effort to further widen access to healthcare. As part of the SRC week he donated an amount of GHC 10,000 to the students.
Veep Kwesi Amissah -Arthur used the occasion to interact one on one with some of the students to give meaning to ‘Health is Wealth’.

I hope my wife is not among those nurses embracing the Vice. She knows the way I suffer to get her fees and feeding paid. The government is insensitive to ordinary Ghanaians.
If they have grown past the allowanes politics NDC wouldnt have gone to korle bu to give them their allowance hand on hand. They are well civilised so will laugh with him and december they will show him his way out of power. Ghana need change
