The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Campaign Coordinator for the 2016 general elections, Kofi Adams, has said Ghanaians will soon regret for failing to re-elect President John Mahama on December 7 to continue a second term of office.
According to him, Ghanaians have done themselves a great disservice by changing the Mahama-led NDC administration, a decision he described as the biggest mistake by the citizenry, as the government had performed exceedingly well in just four years of being in power.
The NDC painfully and unxpectedly lost the 2016 elections both Presidential and Parliamentary, which the party was so confident on winning due to the massive infrastructural development seen during President Mahama’s reign.
However the three-time Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo was declared winner of the general elections after he polled 5,716, 026 votes to beat the incumbent President John Dramani Mahama who garnered 4,713,277 votes out of the 10,615,361 valid votes cast.
The results were votes from 271 out of 275 constituencies as declared by the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Charlotte Osei.
Speaking on Asempa FM Monday, Kofi Adams who’s also the National Organizer of the NDC stated that Ghanaians will soon miss President Mahama for what he did for the country.
“Ghanaians will soon realize what it is that they have lost in President Mahama. The biggest mistake Ghanaians made was not to have re-elected President Mahama to continue for another term in office. Only God knows why things went the way they did. We left everything to him to decide who would emerge victorious during the elections, but all I’m saying is that Ghanaians will remember President Mahama for the greater good that he ensured in Ghana. Just as we remember Jesus Christ for the good He did on earth, so shall we never forget President Mahama for what he’s done for Ghana.”

Is mr Adams still campaigning? Comments from him is a gross disrespect for the views of the 54% who voted for Change. Mr Adams should focus on the mistakes of his own party/govt
Kofi, you mean Ghanaian's should have allowed you and your NDC to continue steeling our money for your own good? We are wise oo, we were just waiting for December 7th that's all. Is Mahama am sad for, for bringing incompetence creatures like you to ruin his future. WE HAVE REGRETTED VOTING FOR NDC!!!
Kofi Adams, you will rather regret that your mother gave birth to ***barred word*** like you. You are speaking against God's will, if not for politics, a ***barred word*** like you can never afford tricycle.
TRUST ME KOTOCOLI MAN YOU ARE HEADING TO JAIL.NANA WILL DO EXCEEDINGLY WELL.ADAMUABOA.GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY AND LEAVE US ALONE.YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ILL GOTTEN WEALTH TRUST ME.ABOABIBA.EWE/AYIEBE BAS--TARD.
It is said that empty barrels makes the most noise is indeed true. Someone who was withdrawn from university for lack of mental strength found himself in Training college think Ghanaians are ***barred word*** because president Rawlings sympathised him by giving him boys boys job at office, now believes he is the most intelligent person on the planet. Always thank Papa J for making you find your feet else you would have been languishing with your cert A in an unknown secondary school courtesy GES. Not your fault id10t for saying Ghanaians made a mistake voting out GYEEDA, WAYOME,SADA, SMATTYRS, lack of understanding economics, arrogance , create loot and share. Ghanaians don't wash their faces upwards, use your head and be silent the next four years in a dungeon.
Ghana can take care of the needs of Mahamah, his family, party and his gang of ***barred word*** but the ***barred word*** of state resources through bogus INFLATED SOLE SOURCING QUID PRO QUO contracts. We are tired of his BORROW, INFLATE, CREATE, LOOT, SHARE, COVER-UP, INCOMPETENCE, BRIBE TAKING, NEPOTISM and TRIBALISM. I cried when Mr. Ohene a career technocrat at the civil aviation who has served Ghana since Rawling regime was replaced by a classmate of Mahamah, a northner prior to the airport expansion. Mahamah couldn't steal and loot us with Mr. Ohene at the helm, hence, he has to replace him with his classmate and a fellow northner to use him as a vihecle of ***barred word***. Nothing but the truth will come out. Fix your party and stop your ***barred word***.
Kofi , did you know Th at you and those children with the sharpest teeth was the brain be hand your defeat?. It was as if you this few guys thought you were wiser than everyone in Ghana. When people with integrity were advising you, you decided not to obey but rather focus on nana addo and him alone. Have you now seen your real size, the nap are not going do what you people did. So you just relax and watch how the npp is coming to change the economy.
Ghanaians rather regretted for voting the corrupt, violent, failed, tribal, discriminatory, divisive mahama and all those in the NDC in 2008 and 2012! But, the whole world knows the 2012 elections was rigged! I wonder why these I-di-ots can't simple accept their heavy, embarrassing and well deserved trashing defeat in the just ended elections and let Ghanaians have our peace of mind! They are still suffering from defeatiasis, propagandaiasis and arroganceiasis (hahahaha). I have always knew and I advised the NPP to concentrate on the five Akan regions and forget about the others, and could still win elections always in Ghana! I have heard people making stu-pi-d arguments about how the voltarians did not vote, which is a contributory factor in the NDC defeat, but that is only a small fraction! It might also be that due to the vigilance of the NPP this time round, most of the illegal Togolese could not vote! Please God, keep these evil NDC people in opposition forever, Amen!
Whenever I listen to this coward then I get angry, You don't have any sense at all, Look @ his face like my anusssss, STupidd F00*LLLL
Better accept the decision of the people. It would have rather been a mistake to retain the NDC. What you see as a great work is the least any leader can do. President Mahama has been very poor at his job. Lazy and unstrategic, there was no way forward. Purchased infrastructures do not strengthen our economy. Infrastructures can help build our construction industry with new building technologies but the realities the construction is done by foreign firms, finance sourcing done by foreign firms. Our industries only supply with over 60% of the cost of building these infrastructure ending up overseas... their contribution to our economy is hugely over-estimated unless there in a big leap in our economic activities to ensure efficient use of those infrastructures. To sum it up, Ghanaians made the right choice. President Mahama had little knowledge about economic management. His remarks often blew a storm of hot air in our societies dividing the people most often. Corruption in his administration was unprecedented and above all, he plays too much. We need a serious president, not one who dresses up like a military general.
