Kwesi Pratt, Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, has implored President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to keep all his promises to Ghanaians.
According to Mr. Pratt, President Akufo-Addo has no excuse but to ensure that he completely delivers on his promises.
Speaking on Radio Gold's 'Alhaji and Alhaji', he alluded to some of Nana Addo's campaign promises, calling on the President to surely create a dam in every village, establish a factory in very district, disburse 1 million cedis to all the 275 constituencies among others.
“I’m exceedingly happy that he will keep all the promises he made in the campaign and that should be gratifying. That should make every Ghanaian very [very] happy. Because if the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why the President should not keep his word, corporate taxes will be reduced from 25% to 20%. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!
“If the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t keep his word, 17.5% VAT on Local Air Travel tickets will be abolished. Who would not want this? If the President keeps his word, VAT on Real Estate sales will be abolished. If the President keeps his word, import duty on machinery and raw materials for manufacturing in Ghana will abolished. If the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t keep his word, Senior Secondary Schools will be free,” he said.
Kwesi Pratt wished the current administration good luck in improving the economy.
“I am so [so] happy and I see a very [very] prosperous Ghana under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo if he keeps all his promises,” he added.

Kwasi, you have been in journalism for a very long time. I am asking you if you have been able to deliver your promises you made to yourself and the oath you swore in journalism. Please be fair to the people of Ghana and say that all you do is just talk, talk and talk again. You are also an equal citizen like the president; you can also do something better. You went into hiding for quite some time. Where did you go?
What else do you expect from this man. All he knows is to criticize the NPP Government. His GJA went dead THROUGH OUT ALL THE 8YRS of the NDC administration. I hate hypocrites who are not principled. They sat something today and can not stand by it tomorrow. This KWESI PRATT lacks this moral obligation.
Ei Kwesi, I thought you had travelled. You selfish wicked stomach concieted journalist pretending to love the ordinary Ghanaians, but behind, milking the nation. You have no shame.enimguase akwaaba
Kwasi Smelling Mouth,Stop opening that your smelling mouth if you know what is good for you.Have you finish Spending that stolen money Mahama and his ***barred word*** gave to you?Try that your ***barred word*** CJA thing again and youll see where power lies
This is in order! At this time four years ago, the NPP was at the Supreme Court disputing the election results. So what is wrong with the NDC merely holding the NPP accountable for the many unrealistic promises they made? People should give them a break. We live in the Middle Ages. To some people, everything from the NPP is good and everything from the NDC is bad. That is ***barred word***! We need facts and we need results. If Bawumia and Nana Addo could not deliver, why did they make those promises?
