Former Chief of defense staff under the Erstwhile NDC administration Brigadier General Nunuoo Mensah has refuted the claims by president Nana Addo that there is no military base in Ghana.
He quizzed the president stating that,’’ obviously when they come here they will not hang in the air they will definitely need a place to stay and keep their military equipment which makes it a military base.’’
Brigadier Nunuoo Mensah comments is based on the answers by president Nana Addo concerning the Ghana- USA military agreement which has generated into a lot controversy

Another 1diot calling himself a general.
Please allow NUNUOO MENSAH TO SPEAK HIS MIND ON ISSUES IN THIS COUNTRY WE ARE REALLY SUFFERING UNDER AKUTU AKUFFO ADDO TOO Ghanaian's like talking too much. respect him like your father
AKUFO ADDO HAS DISAPPOINTED GHANA, THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR NDC TO GROUP TOGETHER AND UNITE THEMSELVES TO FIGHT THIS OLD FWUL DICTATOR AND ALL DIE BE DIE MAN.INVITE MR RAWLINGS TO NDC
it means NDC signed secret agreement with USA 1998 and 2015 to put a base in Ghana, if I will understand Brigadier Nunu statement. then my question is why demonstration? Oh NDC God have mercy on them. you will continue remain in opposition. Ghanaian s now understand politics. especially we floating voters.PLEASE THE EDITOR SHOULD KINDLY SEND IT TO BRIGADIER. THANK YOU.
I can't imagine how our Generals think? If that is the case then Gen Nunoo-Mensah is telling everybody that the minority is being mischievous and hypocrites as the President said in his speech. The American soldiers have been coming here since independence and they always bring equipment and slept not on trees but in hotels, Bundase, Tamale Bawa barracks and Achiase. Gen Nunoo Mensah should have come out long time than waiting up to this time when the situation is leading some people to topple the government. I have never liked the way Nunoo Mensah comment on general issues. I hope he never was a CDS of our professional Armed Forces. He must load his brain before shooting his mouth.
oh my uncle, why disgracing us like that. since by your talk where you are is your base then the base is already here. hahahahahaha now i see it clear. one by one they will come and disgrace themselves. well done Brigadier.
Hmmm, this is getting rather tedious. By the Brigadier's definition, the US has had a military base in Ghana since the first agreement was entered into in 1998.
