Former President John Dramani Mahama, on Saturday, led thousands of members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to embark on a Unity Walk in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.
The crowd paraded through some of the principal streets of Kumasi. Mr. Mahama has led similar exercises in other regions including the Eastern and Northern Regions.
The exercise according to the NDC, forms part of a healing process for the party which was handed a humiliating defeat in the December 2016 general elections, losing to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Other stalwarts of the party who took part in the unity walk include former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, former Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor, former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yamin, former Chief Executive for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Kojo Bonsu and MP for Asawase who doubles as the Minority Chief Whip in Parliament, Muntaka Mubarak.

forget the crowd. they were rented from the volta region and the three northern region. some of them are even dead ple whose spirits cld not find any better resting place due to their affiliation with the ndc party.
Ghanaians are very good betrayers.
Forget about the crowd they brought them from northern region and volta region. That's how ndc do things they always rent people from other regions to another region for unity walk and things. So don't mind them.
Ndcfuo ne gyimie de3, when you bused people from the North to your walk I call them Kumasifuo, aden na mo'agyimi saa! Inusah Fuseini has cautioned John mahama to stop renting crowds since that won't help. Tweeaaa kai! So you think ndc has a chance?tickle yourselves and laugh and you will laugh at the wrong side of your mouth. Ashantis are not f00*ools to vote for thi*ves, Ashantis are not f0000*00ls to vote for incompetence, Ashantis are not f000*00ls to vote for their enemies tickle yourselves with rented crowds and think that is real.NPP are not scared an inch because the 54% are still intact and those who took that disunity walk are among the 22% for the ndc so who cares? You are deceiving your dismantled base with these rented crowd. Who doesn't know that is the stock in trade of the ndc? They show case the crowd to defeat. Ndc will rot in opposition mark my words. Fear delegates refer to ndc disunity rented crowd. Hahahahahahaha ! Na wei nso yede pia car ! Aaah! Y3p3 real crowd wose rented ! Ndc tickle yourselves to 2020 disintegration, only f000*ls don't see the end of the ndc. Who want John mahama to be president?chief okronfuo!
We can't wait for 2020 to show Nana Addo the door. Snail paced economy. Nothing better to show for in more than a year. We go show NANA, 2020.
NPP will rule for only 4 years.Akufo Addo has nothing to offer than signing for gay . Akufo Addo has fail us with his more promises.
Akuffo addo you see what is happens in Ashanti region.... you will see 2020 ... you think only in Eastern region and you town .
God does not vote...... delegates do..... treat them badly and they will punish.... Ask Sir John
I just don't know how these NDC people think that Ghanaians will soon forget their crass incompetence and vote them back in power. How possible? If crowds were an indication of winning elections, then NDC should have got over 60% in the last election. A government is just one and half years in power and people are saying "fulfill your promises" forgetting the ones that have been fulfilled already. No matter the circumstances, NPP cannot fall below 50%, and NDC cannot simply get more than 45%. They should be mobilizing for 2024, and forget about Mahama and 2020.
Akuffo addo is the only NPP flagbeareer that can make NDC have 50% votes in Ashanti region. He has neglected the region and is developing menu, where he didn't have even 60% votes.
