The Presidency has directed the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of some eight public institutions to proceed on compulsory retirement.

Must you sell your ignorance here by force? @ Asem nie and co. These people have not been sacked in the real sense; they ve been asked to go on retirement from the PUBLIC SERVICE (CEOs of govt institutions included). People in the executive and elected positions are not tagged on the compulsory retirement age thing, and so Kan Dapsang, Osafo Maafo and prez himself not affected by that law. In fact, they can be appointed as ministers or deputies or presidential advisers etc after their retirement
What about the president himself?
@energy minister.... Who told you only Ashanti’s voted for NPP in 2016 ? You must be deluded to think that the likes of KK Sarpong and Isaac Osei have been working in the interest of the NPP.. Go to GNPC and TOR and you’ll be amazed at the level of aparthy on the part of the staff. Nana Addo has taken a bold step and we all need to support him. Ashantis in GNPC and TOR are very elated at this decision. Kudos Nana show boy.
akufo addo watch out! if you think having sorted the dispute in dagbon you are guaranteed the northern votes and thus you dont need ashantis, be informed that NPP is for all of us. you are octogenarian, how can you compel an APPOINTED OFFICERS to retire due to over age? what then is osafo maafo doing in government. i blame some iiddiots ashantis who will blindly vote for NPP without seeing through the clear discrimination. wontumi, sir john and osei kyei mensah are clear examples. these will always defend akufo addo for, perhaps, their stomach. frema opare pls watch out cos u may soon be axed. oh, asanteman, kotoko adehyie, pls wise up! if possible form your own party regardless of the consequences. dont bee laughed at. iff akufo addo attempts to impose bawumia defect and form ur own block. u may lose the election by that but it may be better than this utter disrespect from the party you have strived so well to keep. kufour, rise up and say something even if they woont take. it is enough!
Hmm a seventy year old president sacking workers in their sixties for being old. Interesting times ahead
eiiiii NPP de3, law sem nkuaaaaaa, tell us you sacking them not retirement age. why did you extend the IGP service years but wanna forced these guys. dumping the asantefo and bringing in the akyems. nothing is new, we all waiting to see 2020. akyem IGP is extended, most asante CEO sacked?, no p. once gabby and asante bediatuo are in, i fear for Alan too.
what about KEN DAPAA. HOW OLD IS HE. IS HIM 20 YEARS
What's the reason for their sacking?
These guys don't deserve to go home if actually we have some non-performing MMDCES hanging round. Actually some of these MMDCES are stroke patients who are still hanging on receiving salaries for no working done for the past 6 months. Presidency must sack these MMDCES as they have dossier on them
They should go and start farming. Good president
