The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia says they have not received any invitation from Justice Emile Short Commission of Inquiry to assist in investigations into the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence.
He called on the Committee to formally write to the party if they want them to participate in the investigations.
“We are not interested in any committee even though we have not been called. We have been saying from the start that the committee is not credible and therefore we are not going even though they have not invited anyone of us for participation" Mr. Asiedu Nketia popularly called General Mosquito told host Kwame Nkrumah "Tikese" on Okay fm’s Ade Akye Abia Programme.
However, the opposition NDC says they don't trust the Committee to be objective, claiming it is just a "cover up" for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
