The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has re-elected former President John Dramani Mahama as leader of the party into the 2020 general elections.
Over 260,000 electorates across the 275 constituencies cast their votes for Mr. Mahama as flagbearer of the NDC in the party's Primaries over the weekend.
He won the elections by 95.24% to defeat his six contenders.
Following the election of former President Mahama as flagbearer of the NDC, questions about who becomes the Running mate to the Ex-President have arisen with some people vouching for others.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' Wednesday morning, social commentator, Allotey Jacobs has endorsed the former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, as a perfect man perhaps for the position of the Running mate.
According to him, Mr. Julius Debrah has been extremely loyal to Ex-President Mahama and has proven beyond all doubts that he is trustworthy.
Allotey Jacobs believed the former Chief of Staff has been the source of support and stability to Mr. Mahama during and after his administration.
“These are such kind of people you will need in your administration,” Allotey Jacobs advises former President John Mahama.
