Mr. Robert Kutin Jnr. the Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has cautioned prospective parliamentary aspirants to desist from campaigning behind the scenes as it could attract sanctions.
He hinted that nominations for parliamentary primaries have not been opened by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the NPP and any member who will flout these rules and regulations could be disqualified.
Mr. Kutin Jnr gave the warning at the inauguration of the Nasara Youth and Women’s wings for the Gomoa Central Constituency of the Party at Gomoa Ekwamkrom in the Gomoa Central District.
He said at the moment the national and regional executives recognized only the sitting members of Parliament (MPs) and not those who were secretly aspiring to contest.
This, he noted, was to ensure that sanity prevailed in the forthcoming parliamentary primaries.
The Regional Chairman, therefore, warned that any polling station executive who leads any parliamentary aspirant to campaign would not be spared and urged them to rally behind the MPs and district chief executives to make the Party stronger in the Central Region.
Mr. Kutin said the Party must be considered supreme in all decisions and urged prospective aspirants not to create problems at the constituencies to enable the NPP to win massively in the 2020 general election.
He disclosed that the inauguration of the wings would be held in all constituencies to revive activities at the polling stations, adding that the NPP would need to intensify work with all seriousness to win more supporters.
Mr. Kutin said the regional executives would soon embark on auditing of the work of polling station executives since 2016 to access the strength of the Party.
He said after inaugurating the various wings the regional executives would push for an agenda to redouble its strategies to defeat NDC again in 2020.
He commended Mrs. Naana Eyiah Quansah, the MP, and Mr. Benjamin Kojo Otoo, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Gomoa Central for their hardwork that had transformed the Constituency.

Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM is becoming a nuisance on the airwaves of late. Is it because John Boadu and the NPP forced him to apologise to them in 2016 so as not to lose his job is the reason he has become the stooooge of NPP to the effect that he can allow that illiterate of a regional chairman called Wontumi a whopping 30 minutes of precious air time just to insult president Rawlings? If Kwame Nkrumah does not change recent soft spot for the NPP and continue to allow NPP 1diots to come on his radio to insult president Mahama, who will not have the opportunity to ‘insult’ back, the NDC will advise itself. Yesterday he chose not to call any NDC person to speak about the so-called Ofosu Ampofo tape but allowed her cheap lady translator to do her own thing and called numerous NPP faggottts to also talk sh*t. Wontomi says Anas’ tape has been cut and joined, in essence it has been doctored but refused to accept that Ofosu Ampofo tape is also doctored, what a fallacy, and Kwame Nkrumah sat there like a ‘dump’. Please Mr. Money laun…. Please talk to your radio presenters especially Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM and Kwasi Aboagye of Neat FM who sees nothing with Anas’ recent video but continue to harp on the fake Ofosu Ampofo tape. Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, is Ofuiiii and had to be forced to call Sammy Gyamfi today for a short but interruptive interview.
