Former Deputy Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo has bemoaned the difficulties Ghanaians are facing under the ruling Akufo-Addo government.
“There is so much hardship to the extent that even plantain is now expensive,” he indicated.
He was speaking on the back of the ‘Kum Yen Preko’ demonstration which was organized on Tuesday.
Thousands clad in red on Tuesday joined the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ) for a demonstration against what they described as hardship, insecurity and oppression experienced under the current Akufo-Addo administration.
Speaking during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Fred Agbenyo said there is the need for government to ‘do the right’ thing to reduce the pressure on Ghanaians ‘instead of giving excuses and attacking the NDC’.
