"The way he was sweating profusely in his khaki dress . . . his sweat alone could fill up a bucket," Kwesi Pratt Jnr teased," Sam George.
The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper was reacting to the narrow victory chalked by the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Dzata George during the recently held primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Sam George who claims his victory was divinely orchestrated, won with seven votes against his close contender, Michael Kwettey, the party’s constituency Chairman.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' said, "my focus was on Ningo Prampram because there was the likelihood that Sam George was going to lose. Looking at him on that day, his sweat alone could fill up a bucket. He was really tensed but there was a certain level of maturity that was displayed at Ningo Prampram; after the primaries, they all shook hands beautifully."
