Former Ashanti Regional Secretary on the ticket of NDC, Joseph Yamin has dared President Akufo-Addo and his NPP members to bring back the referendum they have aborted if they claim members of the opposition party are against every good project of the government in power that will better the lives of citizens.
He further stated on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' newspaper panel discussion segment that President Akufo-Addo should thank his stars that the NDC and members of the chieftaincy institution have drawn his attention to the consequences of politicizing local assembly elections.
"President Akufo-Addo should be thanking us for enlightening him on the disadvantages he never taught the politicizing of local assembly elections could cause this country".
According to him, he cannot talk for the other former leaders of this country that the President claim he consulted on local level assembly elections, but he can categorically talk for former President John Dramani Mahana who is the leader of the party he belongs to that the sayings of the President was not what they discussed.
"Rather, the election of MMDCE's was what he discussed with him and not what the story has turned into today", Yamin pointed out.
