Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuguon of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan on Monday, January 13, 2020 donated diapers to the University of Ghana, Legon, hospital.
Maa Lydia was optimistic the diapers would help adults lead a dignified life.
She pledged her commitment to supporting the hospital and thanked the management of the hospital; Acting Director, Dr. Mark Frempong, the Chief Nursing Officer in-charge (CNO I/C), Mrs. Cynthia Onwona-Agyeman, the Deputy CNO, Mrs. Gifty Adu-Bah and the Deputy Administrator, Mr. Ken Botchway for the warm reception they accorded her and her team.
“As a health person and Member of Parliament, it's paramount to me to give back to the society what God has blessed me with, most especially to the people who raised today's generation…I pledged my support on the need to help our adults lead a dignified life and urge all to support in this noble act,” she said.
The beneficiaries also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Ayawaso West Wuguon MP for her kind gesture.
Madam Lydia Alhassan was accompanied by the Founder of Frankel Foundation for Diabetics, Lydia Agyen Frimpong and Okponglo electoral area Coordinator, Mr. James Bugre.
