President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana on Friday, January 17, 2020, to attend the UK-Africa Investment Summit held in London, in the United Kingdom.
Whilst in the UK, President Akufo-Addo also addressed the Ghana Investment Opportunities Summit which aimed at bringing investors, especially from the United Kingdom, to explore investment opportunities in Ghana.
The President who is currently in Ghana is reported to have brought home a huge amount of money to shore up the economy.
Minister of information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' confirmed this, saying President Akufo-Addo returned to Ghana with a 'benefit of about 326m..."
He went further to reveal what the money will be used for.
