Hundreds of NPP party supporters last Friday cheered delegates and some executives of Tarkwa-Nsuaem constituency to pick parliamentary nomination forms for Mr George Mireku Duker to contest the seat again in the December polls.
The delegates explained that their reason for picking up the forms for the MP was due to his hard work and dedicated service in the constituency – and again, the role he played in helping the NPP gained historic votes in the Western Region.
“He has lobbied for more developmental projects to the constituency so we want to maintain him,” leader of the delegates said
George Mireku Duker who received the forms from the delegates thanked them for their support and promised to ‘do more’ for the constituency if voted into power again.
He however lauded President Nana Addo’s achievements and urged his region to vote massively for him to continue with his good works.
