The Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency, Dr Eric Oduro Osae has urged the President not to pay attention to those lobbying for positions.
President Akufo-Addo is yet to announce appointees he will be working with, in his second term. Already, there are lots of behind the scene lobbying for positions or appointments.
Speaking to this, Dr Oduro Osae says such people don't believe in themselves.
"If I was the President, I will not give any position to those lobbying . . . there can be recommendations but he should not appoint anyone who lobbies because such people don't believe in themselves and don't believe that they can be appointed based on merit . . . if you're good you can be recommended . . . your good works will speak for you. Those lobbying, Mr. President don't give ear to them," he urged while speaking in a one-on-one interview on Neat FM.
