Member of Parliament (MP) for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, has extolled the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the face of the economic challenges confronting the nation.
According to him, the President has outperformed all Presidents under the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme Thursday morning, the MP stated emphatically that "if it hadn't been because of COVID and Russia/Ukraine war that have upset our economic gains, I haven't seen anybody under the Fourth Republic who has performed excellently like Nana Addo. And these are things that I dare anybody to come to table, let's discuss it".
Regarding the current worsening economic situation in the country, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh pleaded with Ghanaians to remain confident in President Nana Akufo-Addo's government.
"I will plead with Ghanaians that it is true we are experiencing hardships but it's the same hands that took us from IMF, the same hands that took us from low growth GDP to 7.3 percent", he stated.
He also called for a national dialogue to help in transforming the economy, saying "every government has a good intention for this country but [the basics] we need to go back to the basics and it's about time that our technocrats, the people who has the knowledge to help; everybody must come on board. Have a national dialogue and see how we can change".
However, in his earnest conviction, "Nana Addo's government is extremely visionary".

Funny man His belly filled That is why he opens his mouth like that
Sylvester Tetteh, is that so? For this singular praise you are assured of a ministerial position in the next few days, you would have been a minister long long ago if you had said something similar one week after the inauguration of Akuffo Addo. Please keep the praises on. What you even said is an understatement. Akuffo Addo has outperformed all leaders from Ghana empire's Mansa Musa to John Mahama. Indeed the development projects dotted around Botianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro from 2017 to today are more than the total number of projects in the community from the Ghana empire of Mansa Musa to John Mahama.
***barred word*** talk. @ Ohemaa-Ba : Those are failed programs those in charge use to enrich themselves. Sloganeering can win you an election but cannot.........
I agree with this man, Akufo-Ado has indeed outperformed all other president in terms of ruining Ghana's fortune.

I do not know how the NDC can convince Ghanaians to believe that they have what it takes to transform the economy from the export-orientated raw material-based colonial economy. Ghanaians have come to value the NPP's concerted efforts to transform the Guggisberg exploitive economic order, as outlined in policies such as 1D1F, planting for food, construction of railways, and FHS. The NDC should therefore give us a break and stop pulling our legs for its failed and incompetent policies, if it ever had any at all. Ken Ofori-Ata is one of the best finance ministers Ghana has ever had. He can comfortably account for the numerous infrastructure developments taking place currently by pointing his fingers at them. The challenges the economy of Ghana has been facing since our independence are structural in nature and need well thought out policies to transform it. It is therefore instructive for Ghanaians to note that the NDC as a political party has been given more chances than any political party in Ghana to transform the unproductive nature of the raw material-export driven economy to an industrial-based productive economy. Till today, you can hardly point a finger at a policy designed and implemented by the NDC administration to change the status quo
