Former President John Dramani Mahama is set to officially launch his campaign to lead the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the next presidential election.
Dubbed ‘Building the Ghana we want together’ is scheduled on Thursday (2nd March) at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in the Volta Region.
The campaign launch comes just a week after the former President picked nomination forms to contest as flagbearer of the NDC ahead of the party’s primaries in May.
“Fellow countrymen and women, I will on Thursday, March 02, 2023, launch my bid to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the 2024 elections at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Sokode near Ho,” Mahama wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday, 28th February 2023.
“I invite you to either join me in the Cedi Auditorium at UHAS or watch a live stream of the launch on my Facebook page or YouTube channel from 9.00 am,” Mahama added.
