Sam Dzata George has been re-elected as the NDC Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency.
He won by 1,036.
Speaking to journalists, the lawmaker said he will work harder in the next parliament.
“I owe it to Jesus and I thank him for it…to my wife and my three lovely kids who prayed for me…” he said.
“Sam George will work harder in the next parliament. Our next target is to achieve a 100,000 vote for the NDC and John Mahama in the 2024 election…” he added.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kwabena Donkor has lost the Pru East seat to his contender, Emmanuel Kwaku Boam who polled 474 against his 317.
