A spokesperson for Ken Agyapong, Lawyer Raphael Agyapong says he is overwhelmed with the massive support Ken Ohene Agyapong is receiving from wealthy businessmen in Ghana in his bid to become President.
He told NEAT FM’s morning show, 'Ghana Montie' that Mr. Agyapong’s campaign team have received free cars from people who believe in this dream.
“People are helping because they believe in Ken and they know he can change things in this country,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye.
Lawyer Raphael Agyapong also said, “the businessmen helping Ken Agyapong don’t want any favours in return”.
NPP Presidential race: Ken Agyapong picks number 1, Bawumia picks 2 on the ballot
The Presidential Elections Committee has held a constructive interactive session with the four contestants vying for the New Patriotic Party(NPP) presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023.
The outcome of this session was the agreement on the modalities and procedures that will govern the upcoming election.
Under the supervision of officials from the Electoral Commission of Ghana, the Elections Committee conducted a balloting process to determine the order in which the contestants will appear on the ballot.
The results of this balloting have now been revealed, in a statement from the party, setting the stage for a highly anticipated NPP flagbearer race. Here is the order in which the contestants will be listed on the ballot:
1. Ken Ohene Agyapong 2. Mahamudu Bawumia 3. Owusu Afriyie Akoto 4. Francis Addai-Nimoh
The NPP is set to elect its flagbearer for the 2024 elections on November 4. Apart from Dr. Bawumia, the other three contenders in the race include Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP; Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the former Minister for Agriculture; and Francis Addai-Nimoh.

If business men are supporting Ken it’s a red flag for ordinary Ghanaian not to vote for Ken. No business person will invest in him and not want a kick back later. In any case the business men are supporting Ken because they are afraid Bawumia will put to an end to the corruption that makes them rich. It’s the main reason Ken is contesting Bawumia. Because he Ken knows in his heart that he is not presidential material and that Bawumia will stop the corruption that makes him rich.
@Ghanaba, for what? We don't use wealthy men to rule countries. If not the CEO of Faceboo, Twiter, Apple should be president of USA. Or Dangotey should be president of Nigeria
Ghanaians need Hon Ken very very badly, we need him to come and save the country, the unemployment situation is too alarming. The youth are crying for jobs and Hon Ken is the only one who can save the situation now. The mafias in government are doing everything possible to frustrate him but is not going to work. The corrupt government appointees are trying to frustrate him but the youth in the country are supporting him to win the primaries and win the general election in 2024. May God blessed Hon Ken and his entire team. Ghanaians are solidly behind your good work
