Ghanaian Runway Model Aisha Med is making giant strides with Ghanaian fashion and style internationally.
Aisha who is currently based in Romania has created her own stylish and classy collection with rich and colourful African fabrics. This collection is 60s-inspired. It was created to put love back into African Wax Prints.
According to Aisha Med her sole aim in putting up this collection was to give these prints a different look than the usual way of wearing them. It was made for the young ladies who like to add colours to their everyday wear. This collection represents modern-day women with a high sense of style and uniqueness.

Aisha Med (born 8 August 1989) is a Ghanaian model and Fashion designer. She was the cover girl for Elle Magazine Romania June Issue and also got featured in the July issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine Romania. One for her images from the June issue of Elle Romania got republished in the September issue of Elle USA.
Aisha Med was born in Obuasi, Ghana to Haruna Mohammed (father) and Jamila Hamisu (Mother). She is the first of four siblings and married to a Romanian called Razvan- Dragos Sabadac.
She attended her elementary school in Obuasi at St. Margaret Educational Complex. She also attended her high school studies at T. I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Kumasi, being a General arts student. Aisha loved music, dancing and arts, she became the senior entertainment perfect in her senior years in High School.
After high school, Aisha got admitted in Ghana School of Survey for her college education in 2008. She was discovered in 2009 by a colleague in Ghana School of Survey where she studied Geomatic Engineering, who introduced her into showbiz. She competed for Miss West Africa Ghana 2011, and emerged as the 2nd runner up. Aisha is a former Miss Universe Ghana 2015 contender.
In 2016 she signed a 5 years modelling contract with one of the most prestigious modelling agency called MRA Modelling Agency in Romania.
Then in 2018, she founded a clothing brand (Aisha Med). It was created with the aim of spreading African print clothing and culture in the Romanian and European market. Aisha’s biggest inspiration is her African heritage.
All she aims to project is all about embracing the vintage African prints and blending them with Western designs to achieve amazing pieces that can be worn casually and elegantly for a night out or formal event.
She’s working on launching her first summer collection which is named after her grandmother as a tribute to her at the end of September 2019. The collection is called “Woowo Summer Collection”.
