Silky-voiced musician, Kwabena Kwabena is frolicking with a fresh-lover in town though memories of his ‘talk-of-the-town’ wedding with a female nurse, Esther, are still fresh on people’s minds.
NEWS-ONE’s investigations into the identity of this ‘fresh lover girl’ revealed that her name is Abena Owusuwaa and that she has a child with a popular male celebrity in town.
She is said to be a woman of charming beauty who acts like a lady but thinks like a man. The musician and his ‘fresh girl’ have been spotted hanging out at a couple of public events in town and the lady is said to have remained glued to him just as female lovers do to register their presence and scare away potential competitors.
Kwabena Kwabena’s affair with his latest lover is speedily raising eyebrows and confirming talks that he has dumped his wedded wife for good.
Reports say Kwabena Kwabena had a crush on Owusuwaa during his campaign tours with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2008. The lady was said to have been working at one of the party’s research offices at Cantonments in Accra. The two, since then, are reported to have developed ‘a thing’ for each other and that ‘thing’ has grown steadily since then.
Aside his wedded wife Esther, and his latest lover Abena, Kwabena Kwabena is reported to have a child with another lady called Priscilla and that she stays near Pigfarm in Accra. NEWS-ONE sources have gathered that Esther, prior to her marriage to Kwabena Kwabena, had no knowledge of his relationship with the Pigfarm lady who has a child for him and that she was instrumental in urging Kwabena Kwabena to accept the said child, though he had initially denied responsibility.
The silky-voiced musician has maintained in reaction to media queries that his relationships with the various women are his private matters and that he expects the media to stay away from what he considers private.
He explained that such stories would not do his career good and he would wish the media focuses on his awards and which events had been lined up for him as a musician.
Not long after, Kwabena Kwabena confirmed that his marriage to Esther was facing problems and even hinted they may be calling it quits.
He was quoted by Showbiz as having explained his reason for going in for a fresh lover thus: “I picked a new girlfriend when it became obvious that our marriage was heading for a breakdown and when Esther also realized this, our house became one hell of a place. Insults on the phone were extended to other members of my family with my mother getting the worst part.”
He had alleged that Esther listens to tales from other people and works herself into a rage and that the matter bothers him to the extent that he confines himself to his bedroom and weeps his heart out.
“I did not have to stay away from home for long, even if the purpose was for something that could be of mutual benefit to us. Working late at studio or going into meetings that dragged into the late hours of the evenings were all considered as getting into affairs with other women.
“There were other problems but I prefer not go public on them because that could affect the future of the only child in that marriage.
I am very sure that I did my best to make that marriage work. Maybe she also tried, marriages do not end overnight, I guess we both tried,” Kwabena Kwabena added.
