Ghana’s Electoral Commission has endorsed Samini’s new Single “Mama Ghana”. The song which featured his record label mate Kofi Kinaata, was produced by in-house producer Brainy Beats.
Speaking to the media at a brief ceremony to premiere the song and video at the +233 Bar and Grill in Accra, the High Grade Family boss said; ” The EC has heard the song, they’ve endorsed it… so we are going to do several road trips to educate the youth on the need for a peaceful elections .”
"Today, the greatest threat to our peace lies in our partisan differences, a growing level of in tolerance, a strange spirit of divisiveness seeking to destroy our very peaceful, moral fabric in music, politics, governance, homes …when they come with money, goodies, charm, promises to threaten our peace, when they come, tell them Samini says – we want peace.” he added.
Samini, supported by Kofi Kinaata, is expected to take this campaign to the streets with the climax at the Saminifest Concert 2016 which comes off on the 3rd of December .
