Celebs Mourn McQueen At Haiti Fundraiser

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has held a fashion show fundraiser for Haiti, paying tribute to recently-deceased maverick British designer Alexander McQueen.

Campbell corralled celebrities including Kelly Osbourne, Chris Brown, Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg, Helena Christensen and even a be-kilted Alan Cumming to strut their stuff for women and children in the devastated country.

The 39-year-old Campbell herself proved she could still rock the catwalk as she legged it down the runway in a short, black, sequined flapper dress with nose-bleedingly high heels.

Model Agyness "Aggy" Deyn, however, seemed a little rusty as she took a tumble - twice - in her Burberry sandals.

She tweeted afterward: "1st show of fashion week! Took a tumble! Got up! Fell again. Should have stayed down the 1st time. Twice! WTF! Ouch my knees!"

Aggy then slipped off her sandals, returning backstage barefooted.

High-brow brands, including Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, and Dolce & Gabbana, donated outfits for the show.

Some of the late McQueen's own infamously outrageous designs were also donated, including a gold lame gown, magenta trench coat, and a black catsuit with thigh-high boots.

Also present at the show was Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who spun round in a black gown with gold beading after speaking of the 'sadness' of McQueen's reported suicide.

McQueen, the 'hooligan' of British fashion, was found dead in his Mayfair flat on Thursday after reportedly struggling to come to terms with the recent death of his mother.

The half-hour long show was held in New York during the second day of the Big Apple's Fashion Week.

All clothing will be auctioned on the fashion web site Net-A-Porter to raise money for mothers and children in Haiti.
