Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown was the biggest winner at the just ended maiden edition of the Kumawood Film Festival and Akoben Awards held at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi on Friday December, 2011.
Nana Ama won four awards Best/English Actress, Best Traditional Movie, Best Story and Best Actress in Leading Role for the movie "Dee Adee Wo No". Interestingly, Nana Ama is the Writer, Producer, Director of the movie "Dee Adee Wo No" which she also starred in.
Even though Kumawood Entertainment and Concept Developers, organizers of the awards are making it difficult for the media especially those based in Accra to access information and pictures from the awards ceremony, Peacefmonline.com have managed to gather a few shots from what happened in the garden city.
