Ghanaian actors John Dumelo and Majid Michel have been nominated in the maiden edition of the Cameroonian Entertainment Awards 2012.
The duo has been nominated in the ‘Pan African Actor/Actress of the Year’ category alongside Nollywood actors/actresses; Genevieve Nnaji, Stella Damasus, Omotola Jalade and Jim Iyke.
The Cameroonian Entertainment Awards [CEA] was founded to recognize Cameroonians in entertainment. It is a non-profit scheme whose aim is to involve the participation of the entire community.
Though it was founded on the ideology that the Cameroonian Entertainment Industry must get on the world stage. It also appreciates and recognizes other talents embedded in Cameroonians.
Awards will be given to winners in the 54 categories on July 28, 2012 in Washington DC.
