Finally, the most beautiful woman in the world presently, Ivian Sarcos, the 22 year-old winner of the 2011 Miss World, has touched down on Ghanaian soil.
The enviable beauty queen arrived in Ghana, on Saturday evening May 19, 2012 at the Kotoka International airport in Accra.
She met and interacted with pressmen at the VIP lounge in a short media briefing at the airport. She expressed joy saying she is very happy to come to Ghana for the first time and to be part of a life touching project in Accra.
Sarcos and the Miss World team were met on arrival by the Mayor of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Dr. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, CEO of Exclusive Events Inna Marriam Patty, and Miss Ghana 2010 Stephanie Karikari among others.
The Venezuelan was accompanied by a 15-member Miss World team, comprising of the first and second runner ups from the Philippines and Puerto Rico, Miss World Europe, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Miss World organization Julia Morley, and some members of the international press among others.
She is expected to go to Cape Coast on Sunday May 20, 2012 to visit some tourist attractions and pay courtesy call on chiefs in the area. Peacefmonline.com was at the airport and we bring you exclusive pictures.
