The Big Brother Stargame is getting hotter and hotter by the day and the weak ones are being separated from the strong week after week. Another live eviction show has gone down and Mampi was sacrificed.
After a heated first nomination session in the Upville, Zambian housemate Mampi, Lady May from Namibia and beautiful Maneta from Zimbabwe were up for eviction after Ghana’s DKB (Head of House) replaced himself with Lady May. After Africa voted, the Zambian star had to leave because she had the least votes. Lady May won 13 country votes, Maneta and Mampi had 1 country vote each.
The show started with an electrifying performance by Tanzanian hip-hop artist, Diamond and during the performance, two fans jumped on stage and started dancing with the artiste but were escorted off stage by security officers. DJ Umculo from Namibia then took over the show and presented a mix of tunes to the audience.
When it was time for the dreaded eviction, BBA Presenter, IK, then went into the Upville where the housemates watched him on the screen. DKB was asked to stand up and tell Africa who he nominated and he boldly said Lady May. Interesting, Lady May stood up and said “I knew it!” whiles she proudly waved her flag. Mampi looked very nervous as she waved to the cameras. Lady May was the first to be left off the hook when was told she’s safe, leaving Maneta and Mampi waiting for the bad news.
IK told Maneta that she was safe, and at that moment, Mampi knew she was the one leaving. She gave the rest of the Housemates a hug and made her way out. Mampi then came onto the stage where she was interviewed by IK. Asked what was going on between her and DKB, Mampi said “I think it is because DKB liked me and I didn’t really like him”. When IK pushed her further to explain, she added “I think he was pushing the button a bit too far”
She said living with different personalities in one house is the most difficult part of being in the Big Brother house. Asked which housemate she is going to vote for, she said “My girl Maneta off course because she is my spider mate”. As to who she thinks will win the Big Brother Stargame, Mampi said “I think Zainab will win because she crazy”.
The random Nomination machine was reintroduced to nominate Downville Housemates and Ghana’s Keitta and his girlfriend Mildred were selected first. A second random Nomination was conducted, to which Botswana’s Edith and Eve were selected.
You can vote via SMS by sending the word VOTE followed by the Housemate’s name to MTN, Vodafone, Espresso, Tigo and Airtel short code 1474. For example: To vote for any of Ghana’s rep, Type Vote Mildred or Vote Keitta or Vote DBK to the short code 1474.
A text cost GHC 0.70pesewas and a number can vote only 100 times by SMS per telephone number during each voting period.

Voting begins immediately after the Nomination show at 20:30 CAT on Monday nights or immediately after the live Eviction show at 21:00 CAT on Sunday nights and closes at 06:00 CAT on the following Sunday morning.
