Do you know that Alhaji Abdul Haruna Attah is married to Nana Yaa Agyeman-Attah, the younger sister of Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.
Do you also know that in the early 80s, Nana Konadu played a major part in the dismissal of Nana Yaa from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), for not getting up when she entered a function?
In the early 80s, Haruna Attah was the Managing Director of Ghana Films Industry Corporation (GFIC), where Ben Ephson was tasked to set up a public relations outfit. In 1985, Nana Konadu also played a major part in the dismissal of Haruna Attah from GFIC.
In July, 1998, Nana Konadu instituted a legal action against Haruna Attah and Kweku Baako. The two were jailed between July 23, 1998 and August 22, 1998.
However, two weeks ago, Ramah Attah (Haruna’s youngest daughter) had a wedding and Nana Konadu was invited. Haruna, in a short speech, forgave Nana Konadu and the husband ex-President Jerry Rawlings. In the course of the ceremony, Haruna and Nana Konadu even had a nice Azonto dance!
