THE parents of these quadruplets were so worried their kids would get mixed up at school they BRANDED them with numbers on their heads.
The six-year-old lookalikes had their hair shaved into numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 so teachers and classmates could tell them apart in class in Shenzhen, South China.
But it is not the only bizarre phenomenon to take place as schools go back in China – further north, pupils’ lessons consisted of SLEEPING on their desks.

Rows of youngsters curled up for a classroom doze during lunchtime in a school in Xi’an, western China.
Teachers from the Goaxin Number 1 Primary School explain that their buildings are too small to have dormitories, and most of their pupils live too far away to go home for lunch.
Instead they take their traditional midday nap on top of their own desks to set themselves up for an afternoon of studying.
“There is no time for them to go home and no room for beds, so they use their desks.
“They are perfectly comfortable – and there’s no chance of them being late for class either,” said a school spokesman.
