Ghana’s talented comic icon funny face has extended an appreciation to his footballer friend Emmanuel Adebayor who plays for English Club Tottenham Hotspurs for fulfilling his promise of buying him a car.
Funny face last week received a Black Range Rover from the Tottenham striker in fulfillment of his promise to the comedian after a very disgraceful moment he encountered with his car when he attended Adebayor’s Charity Launch.
Funny face known in real life as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro in showing appreciation to Adebayor has recorded a song, titled “My Car’ featuring D-Cryme, a Tema based artist.
The Azonto or high tempo song features hilarious lyrics like,” my car is a miracle, my car is a crocodile, my car is a killer car, it’s an antelope, my car, your car, the car is a miracle.’ This lyrical content vividly depicts the musical immaturity of Funny Face who fuses his usual comedy and humorous lyrics into it.
The song was recorded by mix master Gazy, a talented producer.
Funny Face is not only the number one comedian of our time, but also the most celebrated. Rocking all the big shows and keeping ribs cracking with jokes and funny stuff. A closer look at his face and teeth would even keep you laughing for hours; no doubt his hard work has paid off.
The US$80,000 (GHc160,000) according to reliable source is a surprise birthday gift to the comedian after his car failed to start when he attended Adebayor’s Charity Launch
The all Black Alloy Rims Range Rover was shipped to UK to be customized for Funny Face before touching the streets of Ghana, after been bought in US. Fitted with LED screen in it, the name Swaggon Papa boldly embroidered in its seats.
The trend continues as most celebrities are spotted riding in customized number plates cars. Watch out for “Funny Face GH1” on the streets.
