Thousands of sympathizers trooped to the residence of Asamoah Gyanï¿½s late mother Mrs. Cecilia Gyan yesterday Tuesday November 14, 2012 at Gbawe in Accra to console the soccer super star and his family after one week of the demise of their dear mother.
The heavy traffic, lack of packing space and the crowd present for the one celebration seemed as though that was the final funeral rites.
Several known faces including local and international footballers, football administrators, Sports Journalist, Musicians, Movie stars, Radio and Television Presenters among others.
Some of the familiar faces Peacefmonline.com spotted at the one week celebration were; Comedian Funny Face, Amanda Jissih, Actors Eddie Nartey, Peter Richie and Prince David Osei, ActressesKhareemaAguiar and Portia Asare, Dan Kwaku Yeboah of Peace FM Sports, Mickey Darling of Peace FM, Musicians Kwaisey Pee, Castro and Samini, Papa Sly among others.
After everything Members of the family arrived at the decision during Tuesdayï¿½s one-week celebration that AsamoahGyanï¿½s late mother will be buried on April 6, 2013 in Accra at a location to be made known later.
Mrs. Cecilia Gyan died through a motor accident on Tuesday November 6 at the secretariat of the Ghana National Association of Teachers.
She will now be finally laid to rest, two months after the end of the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.Kwaisey Pee, Castro, Funny Face and other performed to entertain the people present whiles some sympathisers danced and enjoyed themselves.
