Armed Robbers Broke Into Actor Eddie Watson's House

On Thursday morning the 25th of April, between the hours of 1:00am to 2:00am thieves broke into actor Eddie Watson’s house and made away with lots of accessories, gadgets and a cash amount.

This is the second time the actor has been robbed. In 2011, he was attacked at his old residence inside East Legon two days after returning from his first Nollywood movie shoot. He relocated to Spintex the following year because his former area recorded many robbery cases.

Before this robbery, Eddie had some guests who joined him to watch the soccer match between Dortmund FC and Real Madrid on that faithful Wednesday night. Although his team lost on the night, he had a get together party for his opposition (Dortmund fans) friends.

The party ended at about 1am because three of his guests had a flight to catch. As the guests left to check in at the airport, Eddie Watson on the other hand, volunteered to take the remaining four (guests) to their various houses.

When he return home, his three bedroom apartment was turned upside down, everything he locked before leaving his home was broken into.

From the operation, the thieves might have entered through the slide louvers because the metal preventing an easy entering was chiseled off the wall. They made away with an Ipad 3, a Toshiba Laptop, six wrist watches at the value of about 4000 US dollars, a galaxy tap II (bought on that very day) and 500 US dollars among other gadgets.

Indeed the police were on point as never before. We were told the patrol team arrived 10 minutes after the actor called the emergency number. They asked the victim and his sympathizers not to touch anything in the house.

From sources, another set of policemen came to the scene, photos and videos, spread powdered substance on the floor and on some few items for a finger print trace. We hope the police find the thieves in no time.
