Nigeriafilms.com has reported that telecommunication giants Globacom (GLO) has dropped some of its top Nollywood ambassadors to be replaced by new and fresh music artistes.
The website reported that Mike Adenuga, owner of GLO, has stopped the likes of Monalisa Chinda, Rita Dominic and Uche Jombo from being official brand ambassadors for GLO until further notice.
Others are Ramsey Nouah, Mike Ezuruonye, Nonso Diobi and Odunlade Adekola. The seven actors have been told to get their contract termination letters at the Legal Department of the company.
Desmond Elliot, who an insider earlier told Nigeriafilms.com might not be retained was eventually kept. Ini Edo, Funke Akindele and Chioma Chukwuka are still with the network provider.
