Member of Nima-based Award-winning hiplife trio, Vision In Progress (VIP), Promzy, real name Emmanuel Ababio, has finally spoken about why he decided to jump from a building.
Promzy disclosed that it happened during the filming of a video for his new single titled “My Area”. He said he jumped deliberately because he wanted that particular scene in the video where the police was after him and all of a sudden he hit a dead end.
He said he had no option than to jump and he jumped because he wanted it to look real and he wanted to do something out of the ordinary.
Contrary to public speculation that the Rapper was high he says he wasn’t high. “I heard people saying I went to smoke, I went get high. No I don’t smoke, I don’t drink”, he told Peacefmonline.com.
Promzy jumped from 40ft high and was subsequently rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning July 13, 2013.
