Actor John Dumelo has thrown his weight behind Ghollywood Production (GP) Limited, organizers of Ghana Movie Awards.
The actor has asked Ghanaians to help the organizers to host the awards successfully and stop criticizing them because they are humans and are bound to make mistakes.
He said everybody has his problem with the nominees list but it should be put aside. He added that we should all help them come out with a successful event for the award winners to be happy and be proud of it.
“You have your problem with it; I also have my problem with. We all have problem concerning the list but let’s put them aside and help them so that they can produce a successful event to make all of us happy,” he said this on XFM.
This comes after many Ghanaians raised their voices against this year’s nomination list. Movie producer Leila Djansi, Kwaku Manu, Lil Win and other stakeholders have criticized the nomination list since it was released.
2013 Ghana Movie Awards organized by Ghollywood Production (GP) Limited comes off on Monday, December 30th, 2013 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
