Shatta Wale Preaches Christ

Dance hall music icon, Shatta Wale, literally, turned a preacher, as he charged the rich in society to emulate Jesus Christ�s shining example by �sacrificing� part of their wealth to help improve the lives of the needy in society.

Displaying his abundant knowledge of the Holy Bible, the music star who is much-loved by the people of Kumasi and beyond, said Jesus Christ for the sake of humanity, sacrificed his life on the cross though he was without sin.

Describing Jesus Christ�s sacrifice as �the greatest sacrifice that you can ever think of�, Shatta Wale who seemed to be �in the spirit�, urged the populace to let Christ�s death inspire them to do good at all times.

The ace musician, who literally turned a man of God, was speaking when he collaborated with Richgame Records, headed by Prince Henry Oku, his manager, to donate to the Kumasi Children�s Home.

They presented soft drinks, biscuits, bags of rice, cooking oil and other items worth GH7,000 to the inmates of the Kumasi Children�s Home on December 24.

Shatta Wale admonished the inmates of the home to be respectful and commit themselves to their education, pointing our that �with proper, you can grow to become influential people in society.�

On his part, Prince Henry Oku explained that the donation was to let the inmates of the home who were without parents, to enjoy the yuletide and also to make them feel that the society cared for them.

He added that the largesses was Shatta Wale and the record lable�s own way of giving back to society, assuring that they would continue to donate to the needy in society to help make them happy.

After the presentation, the elated-looking children were seen taking pictures with Shatta Wale whose demeanour showed that he was extremely happy to be in the midst of the orphans.
