Television Presenter, and Lawyer, Sandra Ankobiah has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedi to the SOS Childrens village in Tema.
An act of kindness, the donation was made on Christmas day.
Items ranging from beverages, confectioneries and toiletries were donated to the facility. She also donated an undisclosed amount of money to the institution.
Ankobiah, who was accompanied to the facility by her parents and little sister, said the exercise was in fulfillment of her Christian duties, and also in extending a helping hand to the needy and less privileged.
In the spirit of giving this season, I and my family decided to come here and spend Christmas day with you, by donating these items. Small as they are, we hope they will be of good use to the children here.
Director of the facility, Isaac Ackon, who received the items on behalf of the Children, said his outfit was thankful for the support, and would ensure they are put to good use.
We are hopeful that these items will go a long way to help the children. Keep supporting us; we cant wait to have you here again.
The Christmas day donation was a follow up exercise to an earlier promise she made days ago that she was going to use proceeds from her Fashion for Action project, for charity.
