Social responsibility is increasingly becoming a problem in Ghana taking into consideration, the latest trend of the country's economy but one man that has broken the jinx is the Programme's Director of Fox 97.9 FM, Kumasi's finest and the last man standing.
Frankie Taylor who has been with Fox FM for 15 years and still on top of his game, has made donations to the All Nations Charity at Ayigya, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on the 22nd March, 2014.
In an interview with the ace presenter, he explained that the urge to do this donation came to him from listening and following Prophet T.B Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. He said, Prophet T.B Joshua is his mentor and has always loved his teachings and his lifestyle as a giver.
“I begun to understand that giving is an assignment from God to every believer” Frankie expounded when asked the motivation behind his generous act. The presenter elaborated that he chose All Nations Charity because no one is looking their way and everyone loves to choose the known ones. “I knew from my checks that they needed help hence the need to run to their aid” he noted.
The children at All Nations Charity were excited to see Kumasi's last man standing with an incredible number of Ghanaian celebrities. Some notable faces that graced the occasion were Evangelist Diana Asamoah and her producer Mr Anane Frimpong of Frimprince, Selina Boateng, Cynthia Mccauley, producer Charles Sarpong of Cebex, Anita Afriyie and her producer Dan Kay, Nhyira Betty and her producer DJ Cosby and many more.
Colleagues from the broadcast fraternity who were also present to render their unflinching support to Frankie Taylor were Eddy Ray of Hello FM, Paa Kwesi Mispah with Anigye FM, D.J Premier of Metro FM etc.
An interesting scene on the day was when the musicians performed for the children, danced with them, motivated them and in addition, ate together with the children. He expressed gratitude to all for the support not forgetting Rev. Dr. Kofi Adusei.
In his advice, Odehyieba Frankie Taylor cautioned all and sundry not to wait till they have too much but the little could have greater impact than they expected, using the widow in the bible's offering in Mark 12:41-44 as an example.
