It appears the mystery surrounding the disappearance of hip-life artiste Castro and Janet Bandu is far from being unravelled, as Janet’s mother is calling on Ghanaians to help find her daughter.
Castro, born Theophilus Tagoe, went missing on Sunday, July 6, 2014 while jet skiing with Janet Bandu on the Volta Lake at Ada, where he was holidaying with Black Stars’ captain, Asamoah Gyan, and some other friends.
“Since the incident, I haven’t known peace. It is very frustrating. All that is needed now is that Ghanaians should help me find my daughter,” Madam Laleba Bandu, Janet Bandu’s mother stated on NEAT FM’s Entertainment Ghana’.
Madam Laleba explained that from her investigation, Janet followed her friend, Alberta to have fun at Ada but Alberta returned home alone.
“…I don’t understand why a lady invited my daughter on a trip and that lady returned without my daughter. Since the incident, we have been trying to get this Alberta lady for a sit-down with the family so she explains how they ended up at Ada; but we can’t find her, and even when we call her she doesn’t pick up,” she said.
Madam Bandu, who sounded very worried, added that the tears she has been shedding since the disappearance of her daughter are on Alberta’s head.
“Ghanaians should please help me locate my daughter or help me locate the Alberta Lady so she can tell us what exactly happened to my daughter. For now, all the tears I’m shedding, I shed on her. If she doesn’t let me find my daughter, she will also not know peace in this world,” she said.
